This family was the major bread supplier in Sydney in the early part of the 20th century and also operated a salt processing plant on Kangaroo Island S.A. at the town of Muston. The remains of the jetty still remain. Below is loading salt in about 1920, the photo is the property of Mortlock Library S.A. so I imagine they have a few more.. The MUSTONS operated ships between Kangaroo Is and Sydney. I really only have hear-say on all of this and better research needs to be carried out. I have seen photos of the huge MUSTON bread factory in Parramatta, now converted to apartments.
